In a very brief, you only need 3 steps (with a prerequisite of registration in our Developer Portal) to call any EHR API through Leyr:
Done, you are awesome! 🥳
Developer application (or rather its client ID) is something you use to authorize your requests against Leyr API. That is our security measure and how we are able to track your requests for billing and support queries.
Register ApplicationIn this step you tell us, which EHRs you would like to connect to and provide your credentials to those EHRs.
We will also ask you for encryption key - your credentials are protected with it and we never store the key on Leyr side. It means even we don't know it and we cannot see your credentials.
Configure EHROnce you have received an access token from EHR, explore our API documentation to learn more about EHR-related APIs.
When making calls to Leyr Sandbox, please ensure that only fictional personal data is used. Fictional social security numbers for test purposes are provided for free by Skatteverket, see this link. Leyr cannot be held responsible for personal data tied to a real person being made available in the EHR Test environment due to API calls made by a customer.
