Acuity Scheduling

Acuity is a scheduling system from Squarespace widely used in different fields, including dental care, to manage appointments and bookings efficiently. It automates scheduling processes by allowing clients to view real-time availability, self-book, reschedule, and make payments online, simplifying administrative tasks for professionals. It’s a great choice for integration if you’re looking for a wider set of customers, not limiting to dental clinic.

Required credentials

If you want to integrate with Acuity Scheduling in production or using your own credentials in Leyr Sandbox, we will ask you for following:

  • API Key
  • User ID

Getting Acuity Scheduling credentials

  1. Login to your account at https://acuityscheduling.com/
  2. From the left navigation menu go to "Integrations" (https://your-website/config/scheduling/preferences.php?action=integrations)1.png
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page, until you find the "API" part2.png
  4. Click on the "view credentials" button on the "API" card3.png
  5. In the pop-up that appears, you can immediately see the User ID and API Key. Those are the credentials that we need! 4.png
Please note, as displayed in the popup, API integrations are a premium feature and require a "Powerhouse" plan.

You are now ready to test and launch your integration with Acuity Scheduling via Leyr. Check our API specification for implementation details.
